What would really help parents is being able to find psychiatrists and psychologists who don't fall straight into transition mode. Have been trying to find "watch and wait"support for a person in Central Qld but no-one puts their hand up and everyone the parent engges for their teenager slispos straight into social transioning. As seems to be the case, the child has a host of mental health issues , which includes autism which the parents would like treated first.
Thanks, I'm glad you're back.
